As a consultant we define our scope of work as follow :

Preliminary sire visits

Preparation of preliminary design for the Employer’s approval of
comment, if any by ways of drawing adequate to explain the
general planning and nature of work with basic dimensions inclusive
of ducts and piping and such other features for obtaining the
approval of Employer.

Drawing out the detail schedule of quantity.

Inspection of major equipment prior to dispatch at site by vendor’s factory/premises and when authorized by client.

Preparation of bar chat / pert chart.
-
Checking quality of work with respect to specification and design.
